Admission Requirements, Application Procedures and Deadlines for submitting application may vary according to level of study in Sweden.
Admission Requirements
Admission requirements generally varies according to the level of study and
programs selected. The requirements for admission is mentioned below according
to the admission level::
Under Graduate Level
There is a wide range of single subject but very limited number of study
programs available to international students intending to study in this level.
That's why very limited international students apply in Sweden for Undergraduate level.
For admission in undergraduate level, student must meet the general as well as
specific requirements of entry.
General Requirements
- Student must have an
internationally recognized higher secondary level education or
must have equivalent recognized qualifications.
- Student must show proficiency in English by means of internationally
recognized English tests like IELTS, TOEFL, etc.
Specific Requirements
Many universities have their own specific requirements. The requirements may be
in terms of ability, in terms of subject matter and so on. To study the specific
subject, student may need additional requirements. Students are requested to
visit the respective university’s website and look
for University's requirements for their indented subject as the requirements may
vary subject to subject and university to university.
Post
Graduate Level
General Requirements
Admission requirements for master programs are:
- Student must have an internationally recognized bachelor's degree or
must have equivalent recognized qualifications.
- Same as for undergraduate level, student must show proficiency in English by means of internationally
recognized English test like IELTS, TOEFL, etc.
Specific Requirements
Different universities have their own specific requirements
regarding academic performance, ability, and languages. To study the specific
subject, student may need additional requirements indicated by the university
itself. Students are requested to
visit the respective university’s website where they intend to study and look
for University's requirements for their indented course because requirements may
vary in accordance to universities and subjects.
Required Admission Documents
Student must submit:
- Academic certificates to show that
their qualification is eligible for their further studies.
- Bio-Data including personal
information, academic qualification, working experiences and references.
- Two letters of recommendation in
English from their teachers regarding their past studies.
Application Procedure
- It is compulsory to check the program
descriptions carefully for detailed information.
- Student must fill and submit the
application form online at https://www.studera.nu with correct postal and email address as it
will be used for all future communications.
- Once the application is submitted,
student must print the cover sheet as instructed in the website.
- The printed page then should be signed
by student and send it by post to the address of Studera along with other
required documents.
