Statistics is related to data and their analysis. Statistics is applicable in wide range of fields that include: health sciences, economics, finance, social sciences, engineering, and in chemical, biological and physical sciences. The undergraduate, post graduate and doctorate statistics are available for international students in Canada. Generally, the universities have separate department for statistics but in some cases it is combined with other departments like mathematics.

Admission requirements
The admission requirements for statistics is similar as for other programs in Canada. However, students must have good background in Mathematics courses, physics and even computer science. Students must have taken the subjects that include Derivatives and Anti-derivatives in high school.
