HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT (HRM)

Understanding the human side of organizations is central to their performance and effectiveness. As organizations change, grow, divide, develop and operate internationally, professional knowledge of the part played by their people is essential at both operational and board levels.

This program considers people, processes and structures interrelate. It focuses on the crucial part played by individuals and groups in organization process, such as decision making, planning and managing new technology. Students will develop an appreciation of the central importance of human resource strategies for all organizations.

Program Outline
In this program students will study a wide range of management related subjects, gaining the broad insight into management required by specialists in the behavioral side of enterprise. This program concentrates students on developing critical, vocational and analytical skills. With this program students will explore how organizations relate to their wider context, from both a socio-psychological and socio-economic perspective. In particular, students will examine how changes in the external environment relate to the processes of management.
